Baseball Recap: Salado Comes Up Short

The Salado Eagles came up short against the East View Patriots on Friday and fell 4-1. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Salado saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Brayden Naegele, who scored a run and stole a base while going 2-for-4.

Salado's loss dropped their record down to 14-7-1. As for East View, the win (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 8-10-2.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Salado will welcome Lampasas at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for East View, they will challenge Elgin at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
