For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last five times Gooding and Wendell have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Tuesday. The Senators blew past the Trojans 15-8. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 17-3 two weeks ago.

Kaylee Silver spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered eight runs (all of which were unearned) on seven hits and racked up 11 Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't given up more than one earned run in four consecutive appearances.
