Baseball Recap: Nature Coast Tech Continues Home Dominance on Wednesday

Nature Coast Tech proved they can win big last Thursday (they won by 30) and on Wednesday they proved they can win the close ones too. They had just enough and edged out the Cypress Creek Coyotes 6-4. This was a revenge game for the Sharks: when they faced off against the Coyotes two weeks ago, they had to take a 5-1 defeat.

Nature Coast Tech's win was truly a team effort as five different players contributed at least one hit. One of them was MARIO DEANGELIS, who scored a run while going 2-for-3.

Nature Coast Tech's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 8-3. The wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Cypress Creek, they now have a losing record of 4-5.

The future could be bright for both Nature Coast Tech and Cypress Creek: their next opponents haven't had the best luck recently. Nature Coast Tech will look to extend Hudson's four-game losing streak when they meet at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Similarly, Cypress Creek will try to hand Brooks DeBartolo Collegiate their ninth-straight loss when the two meet at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday.
