Basketball Recap: Clayton-Ridge Takes a Loss

Clayton-Ridge was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They had to suffer through a 67-29 loss at the hands of the South Winneshiek Warriors. While losing is never fun, the Eagles can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Iowa basketball rankings (they are ranked 333rd, while the Warriors are ranked 156th).

Clayton-Ridge's defeat dropped their record down to 3-13. As for South Winneshiek, they pushed their record up to 11-4 with the win, which was their third straight at home.

Clayton-Ridge will square off against Kee at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for South Winneshiek, they will challenge Waukon at 7:30 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in South Winneshiek's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last four contests.
