HomeSchool Resource Center proved they can win big on Friday (they won by seven) and on Friday they proved they can win the close ones too. They came out on top in a nail-biter against the Illinois C Crusaders, sneaking past 4-3. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 5-3 last Tuesday.

HomeSchool Resource Center hit Illinois C with a three-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Devin Davis (2), Nolan Sutherland, and Grayson Zarris.

HomeSchool Resource Center's win bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Illinois C, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 0-2.

Looking ahead, HomeSchool Resource Center is taking a road trip to challenge Westlake Christian Academy at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Illinois C will be paying especially close attention to the Patriots' matchup: after the Patriots face off against Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family, they'll take on Illinois C again on September 27.
