Volleyball Recap: Cherryvale Comes Up Short

Cherryvale lost against Neodesha on September 4th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Chargers fell 2-0 to the Blue Streaks.

Cherryvale was the model of consistency in the loss, scoring 14 points in every single set they played. The final score came out to 25-14, 25-14.

Cherryvale's defeat dropped their record down to 6-19-4. As for Neodesha, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 22-4-2 record this season.

Cherryvale wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next match, a 0-0 tie against Fredonia on the 30th. As for Neodesha, after both having extra time off, they and Caney Valley will shake off the rust and duke it out on Tuesday.
