Volleyball Recap: Tri-Township Tigers vs. Morgan Township Cherokees

Tri-Township was the 3-0 winner over Morgan Township when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The Tigers lost 3-0 to the Cherokees on Thursday.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-6, 25-17.

Morgan Township found their leader in freshman Marshall Craigin, who had seven digs and one assist. Ryland Gerber also deserves some recognition as he had his first blocks of the season.

Tri-Township's defeat dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Morgan Township, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 6-1.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Tri-Township will host Washington Township at 6:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Senators will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something the Tigers surely won't give up without a fight. As for Morgan Township, they will look to defend their home court on Saturday against Westville at 9:00 a.m.
