Cleveland is a perfect 7-0 against Southeast Raleigh since March of 2022 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Friday. The Cleveland Rams will be playing in front of their home fans against the Southeast Raleigh Bulldogs at 7:00 p.m. Cleveland is coming into the game hot, having won their last four games.
On Wednesday, Cleveland got the win against Seaforth by a conclusive 11-1. Considering the Rams have won four matchups by more than five runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Caleb Lynn made a splash while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound, striking out nine batters over four innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits (and only one walk). Lynn was also big at the plate, scoring two runs and stealing Three bases. while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances. Those three stolen bases gave him a new career-high.
In other pitching news, Mason Rodgers looked comfortable as he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs or hits. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one hit in five consecutive appearances.
Back at the plate, Cleveland let Brayden McArthur and Brooks Moore run wild. McArthur scored two runs while getting on base in all four of his plate appearances, while Moore scored two runs while going 2-for-4. What's more, Moore posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in March of 2024. Another player making a difference was Ty Lee, who scored a run and stole a base while going 1-for-3.
Cleveland always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .583. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Southeast Raleigh hadn't done well against Smithfield-Selma recently (they were 0-5 in their previous five matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Wednesday. Southeast Raleigh skirted past Smithfield-Selma 9-7. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Bulldogs as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.
Nicholas Teel tossed a big game, striking out nine batters over 4.2 innings while giving up three earned (and three unearned) runs off six hits.
On the hitting side, Josiah Heath was a standout: he scored two runs and stole Four bases. while going 3-for-3. Those runs were his first of the season. Grayson Dove was another key player, scoring a run and stealing Four bases. while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.
Southeast Raleigh's win bumped their record up to 2-4. As for Cleveland, their victory bumped their record up to 5-2.
Cleveland took their win against Southeast Raleigh in their previous matchup on Tuesday by a conclusive 21-0. Does Cleveland have another victory up their sleeve, or will Southeast Raleigh turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
