Softball Recap: Eminence Comes Up Short

Eminence was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 30th straight defeat dating back to last season. They lost 18-1 to the Paris Greyhounds. If the Warriors were looking for revenge after losing 16-0 to the Greyhounds when the teams met back in April of 2024, then they'll just have to keep looking.

Eminence's loss dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Paris, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 10-4.

Coming up, Eminence will venture away from home to face off against Model at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Warriors' pitchers better be ready for this one: the Patriots have averaged an impressive 12.4 runs per game this season. As for Paris, they will square off against Mason County at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
