Baseball Recap: Naperville Central Comes Up Short

Naperville Central's last matchup with Naperville North could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Thursday. The Redhawks lost 9-0 to the Huskies. For those keeping track at home, that's the biggest defeat the Redhawks have suffered since March 26th.

Naperville Central's loss dropped their record down to 9-8. As for Naperville North, their win ended a three-game drought at home and bumped them up to 7-8.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Naperville Central will welcome Oswego East at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday. As for Naperville North, they will challenge St. Francis at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. The Spartans will roll in looking for their ninth straight victory, something the Huskies surely won't give up without a fight.
