Basketball Recap: East Side Community Picks Up Fourth Straight Win at Home

After losing to Clinton School the last time they met, East Side Community decided to demonstrate that turnabout is fair play. East Side Community snuck past Clinton School with a 59-55 victory on Friday. The win made it back-to-back victories for East Side Community.

East Side Community pushed their record up to 3-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.3 points per game. As for Clinton School, they moved to 3-2 with that loss, which also ended their three-game winning streak.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. East Side Community will head out to square off against Green at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Green knows how to get points on the board -- the squad has finished with 55 points or more in their past five matchups -- so hopefully East Side Community likes a good challenge. As for Clinton School, they will head out on the road to face off against NEST+m at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
