Recap: Harmony School of Discovery Tigers vs. Danbury Panthers
This season hasn't been kind to the Harmony School of Discovery Tigers, who are still winless after their seventh contest. They received a tough blow on Friday as they fell 71-53 to Danbury. The loss unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Harmony School of Discovery in their matchups with Danbury: they've now lost seven in a row.
Harmony School of Discovery lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Adedayo Adelakum, who dropped a double-double on 16 points and 11 rebounds. Adelakum is on a roll when it comes to blocks, as he's now posted two or more in the last three games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Alfonso Chaparro, who scored 15 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Harmony School of Discovery bumped their record down to 0-7 with that defeat, which was their 12th straight at home. As for Danbury, their win ended a three-game drought on the road and puts them at 4-20.
Harmony School of Discovery will face off against Hempstead at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Hempstead focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 18 on Friday. As for Danbury, they will look to defend their home court on Tuesday against Van Vleck at 7:30 p.m. Hopefully Van Vleck focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 14 on Friday.
