Baseball Recap: Putnam County Extends Road Winning Streak to Seven

Putnam County waltzed into their game on Thursday with three straight wins... but they left with four. They walked away with a 7-2 win over the South Harrison Bulldogs. That result was just more of the same for these two, as the Midgets also won the last time the pair played back in March of 2024.

Putnam County pushed their record up to 7-1 with the victory, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season. As for South Harrison, they now have a losing record of 2-3.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Putnam County will take on South Holt at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. The Knights' pitching crew has only allowed 2.8 runs per game this season, so the Midgets' hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for South Harrison, they will face off against Marceline at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
