Rock Bridge extended their winning streak (dating back to last season) to five on Sunday, bumping them up to 4-0. They came out on top against the New Madrid County Central Eagles by a score of 59-50. For the Bruins, this counts as revenge for the 63-59 win the Eagles walked away with the last time they faced one another back in February of 2023.

As for New Madrid County Central, they dropped their record down to 1-6 with the loss, which was their fifth straight at home dating back to last season. The matchup marked their lowest-scoring game so far this season.

Several Eagles players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Byron Minner, who made all 7 shots he took for 17 points and six boards. Thanks to that strong game, Minner now owns an excellent 53.6% field goal percentage. The team also got some help courtesy of Jayden Williams, who went 6-for-13 to rack up 18 points.
