After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Macon County, DeKalb County was happy to have turned things around on Thursday. They walked away with a 10-5 victory over the Monterey Wildcats. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 8-7 back in March.

DeKalb County's win bumped their record up to 9-11. As for Monterey, they dropped their record down to 8-14 with the defeat, which was their third straight at home.

Coming up, DeKalb County will welcome Watertown at 6:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Monterey, they will head out to take on Jackson County at 6:00 p.m. on Friday.
