Volleyball Recap: Foard Turns Things Around After Road Loss

There's no place like home for Foard, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Wednesday. They came out on top against the Draughn Wildcats by a score of 3-1 on Thursday. That's more bragging rights for the Tigers, who also won the pair's last head-to-head.

The victory didn't come easy: Draughn scored at least 20 points in every set. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-23, 19-25, 25-20, 25-21.

Foard now has a winning record of 2-1. As for Draughn, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the defeat, which was their fifth straight on the road dating back to last season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Foard will take on Hickory at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Draughn, they will face off against Freedom at 6:00 p.m. on Monday.
