Soccer Recap: Glenpool Takes a Loss

After flying high against Cleveland last Tuesday, Glenpool came back down to earth. The Glenpool Warriors took a 5-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Ponca City Wildcats on Thursday. The Warriors were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Wildcats apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in March of 2024.

Glenpool's defeat dropped their record down to 2-4. As for Ponca City, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 3-3.

Glenpool will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Wagoner at 8:00 p.m. on March 25th. Ponca City also won't see the pitch for a while: their next contest is against Deer Creek at 1:15 p.m. on March 28th.
