Football Recap: Fabens Wildcats vs. Jefferson Silver Foxes
Fabens couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of the Jefferson Silver Foxes by a score of 15-13 on Friday. The Wildcats just can't catch a break and have now endured six losses in a row dating back to last season.
Jefferson found their leader in underclassman Davion Arnette, who rushed for 77 yards and a touchdown on only ten carries.
Fabens will take on Burges at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Burges focused on turnovers this week as team gave up five on Saturday. As for Jefferson, they will host Bowie at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
