Baseball Game Preview: Castleberry Lions vs. Diamond Hill-Jarvis Eagles

For the second straight game, Castleberry will face off against Diamond Hill-Jarvis. The Lions will face off against the Eagles at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Castleberry will aim to continue their four-game streak of scoring more runs each game than the last.

Castleberry is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Friday. They blew past Diamond Hill-Jarvis 12-5. The result was nothing new for the Lions, who have now won nine matchups by six runs or more so far this season.

Castleberry let Samuel Williams and Eric Medina run wild. Williams got on base in four of his five plate appearances with four runs and one RBI, while Medina went 4-for-5 with three RBI, one run, and one double. Those four runs gave Williams a new career-high. The team also got some help courtesy of Adrian Pina, who got on base in three of his five plate appearances with two runs and two RBI.
