Volleyball Recap: Wheatland-Grinnell Thunderhawks vs. Linn Bulldogs

It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact Wheatland-Grinnell can now relate to. They took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Linn Bulldogs on Friday. The Thunderhawks have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

While Wheatland-Grinnell had to settle for second, they sure made a game of it, scoring at least 19 points in every set they played. The final score came out to 25-20, 25-19.

Aliviah Ball paced Wheatland-Grinnell's offense, picking up ten kills. Ball got some help from Emily Heier and her 20 assists.

Wheatland-Grinnell's defeat dropped their record down to 31-11. As for Linn, they have been performing well recently as they've won six of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 24-19 record this season.

As of now, neither Wheatland-Grinnell nor Linn have any future games scheduled.
