John Timko posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Thursday. As a matter of fact, he turned in his biggest game of the season, striking out four batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs off three hits (and only one walk). He has become a key player for Chardon: the team is 6-2 when he allows at most one earned run, but 7-8 otherwise.
