Marked Tree's last matchup with Hillcrest could've gone either way, but unfortunately the same can't be said for the pair's matchup on Monday. The Indians lost 9-0 to the Screamin Eagles. The Indians' defeat continues a trend for the squad, making it three in a row.

Marked Tree's loss dropped their record down to 6-10. As for Hillcrest, the victory made it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 7-5.

Looking ahead, Marked Tree will square off against Armorel at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. As for Hillcrest, they will look to defend their home field on Tuesday against Cave City at 4:30 p.m. The Screamin Eagles will need to watch out since the Cavemen have now posted at least ten runs in their last three games.
