If Alberton wanted to avenge their loss from the last time they played Two Eagle River, they should've done a better job of containing Dayani Piapot. The Two Eagle River Eagles sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 47-45 win over the Alberton Panthers on Tuesday thanks in part to Piapot, who almost dropped a triple-double with 14 points, nine rebounds, and nine steals. Those nine boards gave her a new career-high.

The victory was their first at home , bumping their record up to 3-14. As for Alberton, they are on a 14-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-12.

Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Two Eagle River will take on Seeley-Swan at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Seeley-Swan will roll in looking for their 11th straight win, something Two Eagle River surely won't give up without a fight. As for Alberton, they will square off against Valley Christian at 4:00 p.m. on Saturday.
