Soccer Recap: South Garner Comes Up Short + How To Watch

The South Garner Titans didn't have quite enough to beat the North Raleigh Christian Academy Knights on Friday and fell 2-1. That's two games in a row now that South Garner have lost by just one goal.

Their goal came courtesy of Rafael Rubio, which was the first he's scored this season.

South Garner now has a losing record of 1-2-1. As for North Raleigh Christian Academy, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Looking ahead, South Garner will head out to square off against T.C. Roberson at 11:00 a.m. on Saturday. T.C. Roberson's last three contests have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for North Raleigh Christian Academy, they will host GRACE Christian at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. North Raleigh Christian Academy will be up against GRACE Christian's rather soft defense (which has allowed 2.57 goals per match), so fans could be in store for a big offensive performance.
