Soccer Game Preview: Cherryville vs. Carolina International

The Cherryville Ironmen will square off against the Carolina International Comets at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Carolina International took a loss in their last game and will be looking to turn the tables on Cherryville, who comes in off a win.

Cherryville headed into their last contest having not scored more than one goal for three straight, but North Gaston let them put that streak behind them. Cherryville put the hurt on North Gaston with a sharp 6-3 win on Thursday. The victory was a breath of fresh air for the Ironmen as it put an end to their three-game losing streak.

Meanwhile, Monday just wasn't the day for Carolina International's offense. They came up short against Bradford Prep last Monday, falling 9-0. The Comets haven't had much luck with the Bears recently, as the team has come up short the last five times they've met.

Carolina International's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Cherryville, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-3.
