Basketball Recap: Joseph Comes Up Short

Joseph was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were four points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 35-31 heartbreaker at the hands of the Jordan Valley Mustangs. The Eagles were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Mustangs apparently hadn't forgotten their loss the last time these teams played back in December of 2023.

Joseph's defeat dropped their record down to 0-5. As for Jordan Valley, their win bumped their record up to 2-3.

Joseph wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 54-38 loss against Open Door Christian Academy on the 14th. As for Jordan Valley, they also didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 74-36 defeat against Enterprise on the 14th.
