Nate Surman put up the most strikeouts he's had since back in April on Thursday. He struck out four batters over two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit (and not a single walk). He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than one earned run in nine consecutive appearances.
