Volleyball Recap: Parkview Christian Academy Gets the Win

While Parkview Christian Academy has struggled at home with five straight losses dating back to last season, that wasn't the case on Friday thanks to Lilah Carlyle. The Falcons walked away with a 2-0 win over the Mooseheart Red Ramblers for which the team can thank Carlyle, who had 16 assists and five aces. She has been hot recently, having posted two or more aces the last three times she's played.

The 2-0 score doesn't show just how dominant Parkview Christian Academy was: they took both sets by at least 11 points. The final score came out to 25-12, 25-14.

Parkview Christian Academy's victory bumped their record up to 3-6. As for Mooseheart, they dropped their record down to 0-2 with the loss, which was their seventh straight on the road dating back to last season.

Coming up, Parkview Christian Academy will take on Woodlands Academy at 9:45 a.m. on Saturday. As for Mooseheart, they will square off against Harvest-Westminster at 5:00 p.m. on Tuesday. The contest will give the Red Ramblers their first taste of in-conference action this season.
