Recap: North Central Eagles vs. Continental Pirates
The North Central Eagles lost against the Continental Pirates back in January of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. North Central took a 36-29 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Pirates. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points North Central has scored all season.
North Central lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Zach Whitley, who scored ten points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Whitley has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Johnny Hicks, who scored six points along with two steals.
North Central's defeat dropped their record down to 6-9. As for Continental, their win ended a six-game drought at home and bumped them up to 2-13.
North Central will take on the Panthers at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for Continental, they will head out on the road to take on the Bulldogs at 6:30 p.m. on Saturday. Columbus Grove is coming into the game on a three-game losing streak.
