Softball Recap: Westover Comes Up Short

Westover was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 18th straight loss dating back to last season. They lost 15-0 to the Jack Britt Buccaneers.

Westover's defeat dropped their record down to 0-7. As for Jack Britt, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 6-4 record this season.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Westover will face off against Western Harnett at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Western Harnett is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 7.9 runs per game this season. As for Jack Britt, they will challenge Gray's Creek at 6:00 p.m. on Friday. Gray's Creek also hasn't been messing around on offense: they've averaged 12 runs per game.
