Recap: Crestline Bulldogs vs. North Baltimore Tigers
The Crestline Bulldogs's game on Saturday was a tough loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Tuesday. They walked away with a 35-28 victory over North Baltimore. For Crestline, this counts as revenge for the 49-31 defeat North Baltimore walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January.
Crestline's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Jocelyn Noblit led the charge by scoring 13 points along with three steals. That makes it seven consecutive games in which Noblit has scored at least 25% of Crestline's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Jacelynn Miller, who scored eight points along with ten rebounds.
Crestline's win ended a ten-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-5. As for North Baltimore, their loss was their tenth straight at home dating back to last season, which bumped their record down to 1-6.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Crestline will wrap up 2023 with a road trip to face off against St. Mary Central Catholic at 6:00 p.m. on December 29th. St. Mary Central Catholic comes in still looking for their first win of the season. North Baltimore will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Hilltop at 1:30 p.m. on December 30th. Hilltop will be looking to extend their current five-game winning streak.
