On Thursday, the Banneker Trojans were within striking distance but couldn't close the gap as they fell 12-6 to the McIntosh Chiefs.
Banneker's defeat came despite a true team effort from the offense, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Tytianna Ramsey, who rushed for 100 yards on only ten carries.
