Interval sprint training workout to do outdoors

Follow the 13th exercise session in a series by Katerina Kountouris.

If you are in some need of some fresh air during the shelter-in-place recommendations and have access to at least 100 meters of running space, Katerina Kountouris brings us an interval sprint training workout .

Kountouris takes it outside for the 13th workout in the series for a sprint workout. There are four exercises all including sprints and body-weight only movements to complete four times. Remember to find a place that's socially distant from others for the workout using precautions to prevent the spread of COVID-19.

A certified physical trainer, clinical nutritionist and professional host, Kountouris has teamed with MaxPreps by offering upbeat, challenging, but easy-to-follow, series of workouts.

Spring training
4 rounds
4 exercises

Exercises — complete 4 rounds
1. 10 walking lunges + 50 yard sprint
2. English burpees with a jump (2 reps) + 10 yard sprint — 2 times
3. Frog jumps (2 reps) + 50 yard sprint — 2 times
4. 100 yard sprint
