Volleyball Recap: Illinois Math & Science Academy Takes a Loss

Illinois Math & Science Academy lost against Westmont back in September of 2024 and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Titans took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Sentinels. The Titans have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back matches.

Marijka Ristic paced Illinois Math & Science Academy's offense, picking up seven kills. Ristic got some help from Naoimi Pathinvo and her 14 assists.

Illinois Math & Science Academy's loss dropped their record down to 12-11-1. As for Westmont, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 14-5.

Illinois Math & Science Academy wasted no time getting back out on the court and has already played their next matchup, a 2-0 defeat against Providence Catholic on the 24th. As for Westmont, they have also already played their next contest, a 2-0 victory against Christ the King on the 23rd.
