Softball Recap: Polk County Comes Up Short

Tuesday just wasn't the day for Polk County's offense. They fell just short of the Roane County Yellowjackets by a score of 2-0 on Tuesday. The loss continues a trend for the Wildcats in their meetings with the Yellowjackets: they've now lost five in a row.

Polk County's record now sits at 2-7. As for Roane County, the victory keeps they at an undefeated 9-0.
