Ripley had to skate by with only a one-run margin when they last took the field, which might have inspired the ten-run drubbing they dealt Westview on Thursday. The Tigers were the clear victors by a 15-5 margin over the Chargers. That looming 15-5 mark stands out as the most commanding margin for the Tigers yet this season.

Ripley's victory was their first in the district, bumping their district record up to 1-3 and their overall record up to 8-8-1. As for Westview, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 7-5.
