Northview Academy had already won five in a row and they went ahead and made it six on Thursday. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the Austin-East Roadrunners. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 on September 2nd.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-9, 25-14, 25-16.

Malori Williams had a dynamite game, getting ten aces, seven kills, and three digs. Those ten aces gave her a new career-high. Megan Underwood was another key player, getting 14 assists.

They weren't the only good servers: Northview Academy was lethal from the service line and finished the match with 19 aces. That's the most aces they've managed all season.

Northview Academy's victory bumped their record up to 15-3. As for Austin-East, they are on a 19-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

Northview Academy didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next match, a 3-1 defeat against Jefferson County on the 29th. Austin-East has also already played their next matchup (against Gatlinburg-Pittman), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
