Football Recap: Bandys Takes Down South Rowan in a Playoff Battle

Two teams were on the hunt for playoff glory, but only Bandys walked away with it. They simply couldn't be stopped on Friday as they easily beat the South Rowan Raiders 71-14. Considering the Trojans have won four contests by more than 19 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Leading Bandys to victory were Tanner Stewart and Brady Swett. Stewart rushed for 122 yards and four touchdowns on only 15 carries, while Swett threw for 237 yards and four TDs while completing 81.8% of his passes. That's the most rushing touchdowns Stewart has posted since back in August. A healthy portion of Swett's aerial production (81 yards to be exact) went to Kayden Henrickson, who also brought in a receiving touchdown.

Bandys now has a winning record of 6-5. As for South Rowan, they are on an eight-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-8.

Bandys has already played their next game, a 60-49 defeat against Stuart W. Cramer on the 14th. South Rowan does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
