Loganville is a perfect 3-0 against Newton since April of 2024 and they'll have a chance to extend that dominance on Thursday. After both having extra time off, the two teams will shake off the cobwebs and hit the court against one another at 5:00 p.m. Loganville will be strutting in after a win while Newton will be coming in after a loss.

Last Thursday, Loganville earned a 2-0 victory over Morgan County. The win continues a trend for the Red Devils in their matchups with the Bulldogs: they've now won three in a row.

Not only was the match a shutout, it was a big one: Loganville took both sets by at least 12 points. The final score came out to 25-13, 25-12.

Meanwhile, Newton had to start their season on the road back in March, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 2-0 to Loganville. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it four in a row.

Newton was held off the scoreboard, but that almost wasn't the case: they kept the second set very close. The match finished with set scores of 25-10, 25-22.

Loganville's victory bumped their record up to 10-2. As for Newton, their loss dropped their record down to 0-1.

Loganville beat Newton 2-0 in their previous matchup back in March. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Red Devils since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
