Volleyball Recap: James Logan Takes a Loss

James Logan was the 2-1 winner over Granada when they last played one another back in March of 2024, but their luck changed this time around. The James Logan Colts took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Granada Matadors on Saturday.

James Logan's offense was headlined by Shia Nhem and Micah Wallace, who picked up five kills apiece. They got some help from Jerick Pineda and his 16 assists. Finally, Wallace was also a dominant defender, finishing with a team-high three blocks.

James Logan's defeat dropped their record down to 4-4. As for Granada, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 11-3.

James Logan didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next game, a 2-1 loss against Livermore on the 15th. As for Granada, they have also already played their next match, a 2-0 defeat against Northgate on the 15th.
