After a string of 14 wins, Argyle's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They fell 3-1 to the Reedy Lions. The Eagles were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Lions earlier this season, when they won 2-0.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-14, 25-19, 23-25, 25-10.

Susanna Hodson paced Argyle's offense, picking up 11 kills. Hodson were helped by Makenna Gregory and Karsyn Rogers, who contributed 12 assists each. Gregory was also solid from the service line: she led the team with three aces.

Graice Wade had a dynamite game For Reedy., getting 20 digs and two aces. Those 20 digs gave Wade a new career-high.

Argyle suffered their first road defeat, dropping their record down to 21-3. As for Reedy, their victory bumped their record up to 10-8.

Argyle didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 3-0 win against Richland on the 9th. As for Reedy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 3-2 victory against Wakeland on the 9th.
