Basketball Recap: Sheets Memorial Christian Victorious

It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Sheets Memorial Christian had no problem doing just that on Monday. In a tight match that could have gone either way, they made off with a 58-57 victory over the Bethel Christian Academy Crusaders. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Eagles considering their 17-point performance the game before.

Sheets Memorial Christian found their leader in sophomore Jude Howell, who went 9-for-18 en route to 22 points and six steals. The dominant performance gave Howell a new career-high in points. Finn Everhart was another key player, going 8-for-18 on his way to 21 points.

Sheets Memorial Christian has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a nice bump to their 10-12 record this season. As for Bethel Christian Academy, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 5-13.

As of now, neither Sheets Memorial Christian nor Bethel Christian Academy have any future games scheduled.
