Talen Pugh has brought in more RBI than anyone else on the Monroe team this season and he led the team again on Tuesday. Pugh went 2-for-3 with one home run, two stolen bases, and three RBI, good enough for us to rate the performance as the best he's had all season long. He is becoming a predictor of Monroe's success: when he posts at least two stolen bases the team is 2-1 (and 4-10 when he doesn't).

Pugh's strong effort led Monroe over Sherwood Christian Academy and he'll get a chance to do so again: the teams have a rematch scheduled at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
