Phoenix had already won six in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 37.2 points) and they went ahead and made it seven on Monday. They escaped with a win against the Chalmette Owls by the margin of a single free throw, 50-49. For the Spartans, this counts as revenge for the 49-27 win the Owls walked away with the last time they faced one another back in January of 2024.
