Volleyball Recap: Dynamic Duo of Mckinney Chandler and Allen Moraga Lead Rich Township to Victory

Rich Township won the last time they faced Kankakee and things went their way on Thursday too. The Raptors narrowly escaped with a victory as the team sidled past the Kays 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Raptors.

In the two sets Rich Township was on fire: they won each by at least 14 points. The final score came out to 25-11, 19-25, 25-8.

Rich Township was led to victory by Allen Moraga and McKinney Chandler. Moraga had 14 digs, while Chandler had three digs and two aces. Those two aces gave Chandler a new career-high.

Rich Township's win bumped their record up to 8-13. As for Kankakee, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-8.

Coincidentally, Rich Township and Kankakee will both be playing Thornridge the next time they take the court. The Kays will head out to face the Falcons at 6:00 p.m. on Monday, while the Raptors will head out to face them at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
