For some reason, the away team has come away with the win the last six times Strath Haven and Haverford have met, but the home crowd finally got their W on Thursday. The Panthers had just enough and edged out the Fords 3-2. For those keeping track at home, that's the closest win the Panthers have posted since August 25th.

Strath Haven was actually outscored in aggregate across those five sets (105-100), but they still managed to win. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 11-25, 25-18, 27-25, 22-25, 15-12.

Strath Haven now has a winning record of 6-5. As for Haverford, their loss was their first in the conference, dropping their conference record down to 2-1 and their overall record down to 4-3.
