Basketball Game Preview: Middletown Islanders vs. Chariho Chargers

Middletown is on a three-game streak of home losses, Chariho a three-game streak of away losses, but someone's luck will change on Thursday. The Middletown Islanders will host the Chariho Chargers at 6:30 p.m. Given that both suffered a loss in their last games, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this game.

Last Tuesday, Middletown came up short against Cranston West and fell 55-45.

Meanwhile, Chariho was beaten by West Warwick 94-50 on Tuesday.

Middletown's loss dropped their record down to 5-11. As for Chariho, their defeat dropped their record down to 4-14.

Middletown strolled past Chariho in their previous meeting back in January of 2024 by a score of 61-46. Will Middletown repeat their success, or does Chariho have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
