Basketball Game Preview: Middleborough Sachems vs. North Quincy Raiders

Middleborough hasn't had much luck against North Quincy recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Middleborough Sachems will head out to take on the North Quincy Raiders at 7:00 p.m. North Quincy took a loss in their last match and will be looking to turn the tables on Middleborough, who comes in off a win.

Middleborough saw some tournament action last Monday. They blew past Medfield 73-39. The game marked the Sachems' most dominant win of the season.

Meanwhile, North Quincy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their third straight loss. They lost 68-42 to Braintree. The contest marked the Raiders' lowest-scoring match so far this season.

Middleborough has been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five games. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-5 record this season. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.6 points over those games. North Quincy's defeat dropped their record down to 18-5.

Middleborough lost to North Quincy on the road by a decisive 63-49 margin in their previous meeting back in January of 2017. Can Middleborough avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
