DALTON TAYLOR posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Thursday. He struck out ten batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off seven hits. He is becoming a predictor of Big Pasture's success: when he allows at most one earned run the team is 2-1 (and 8-10 when he doesn't).

Coming up, TAYLOR and Big Pasture will host Velma-Alma at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Sadly, TAYLOR's big day wasn't enough to stop the loss, which snapped the Rangers' four-game streak of wins at home.
