It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Alamo Heights had no problem doing just that on Friday. They secured a 57-51 W over the Liberty Hill Panthers. The win was nothing new for the Mules as they're now sitting on six straight.

Alamo Heights' success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Gunnar Jones led the charge by going 9-for-13 on his way to 21 points and five boards. That's the most points Jones has posted since back in November of 2024. The team also got some help courtesy of William Whittingstall, who shot 63% from the field to rack up 15 points.

Alamo Heights' victory bumped their record up to 30-8. As for Liberty Hill, they moved to 32-6 with that loss, which also ended their 19-game winning streak.

Looking ahead, Alamo Heights will face off against Fort Bend Marshall on Monday. Fort Bend Marshall will roll in looking for their 21st straight win, something Alamo Heights surely won't give up without a fight. Liberty Hill does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
